Bringing Home Your Puppy
I know you are excited to bring home your puppy, but let me ask you this, are you prepared? It is important to puppy proof your home and buy everything before you pick up your puppy. When you bring home your puppy you want the next few days to be all about bonding and allowing the pup to adjust to his new home. Please remember that these first few days will be the most difficult for the puppy. Stress is normal: loose stools, whining, fear, and even searching for his littermates and mom. It's important not to overwhelm the puppy too much, yet begin to build the trust and bond between human and animal.
